The Marion Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of four new members to its board of directors: Brady Quinn of Bergan KDV, Jeanne Matthews of GLD Commercial, Kevin Boge of Farmers State Bank, and Matt Skogman of Skogman Homes. Mr. Quinn has served as a Senior at BerganKDV since 2015 working primarily with construction and manufacturing companies. Prior to that he worked in tax accounting at Rockwell Collins and RSM. He received his Masters in Accounting from University of Iowa–Henry B. College of Business. In addition to his Board duties, he also currently serves at Treasurer of the Marion Independent School Foundation and Alumni Association. Ms. Matthews is a Broker Associate with GLD Commercial. She began her career in real estate in 1998 as a licensed general contractor. She and her husband, Paul, have a construction company and share a passion for historic restoration and renovation projects. They reside in Uptown Marion. Mr. Boge currently serves as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending at Farmers State Bank in Marion. He received his B.A. in finance and real estate from the University of Northern Iowa. Prior to joining Farmers State Bank he served as a commercial lender and credit analyst in the area. Mr. Skogman is Vice President of Sales at Skogman Homes. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa in Economics and spent five years in Chicago before returning to the Marion area in his current role. In addition to the new board members, the Chamber welcomes 2018-19 Board Chair Patty Webster of Hills Bank & Trust Company.
