Event Description: Friday, Sept. 9
  • The Old Settlers Celebration - Lowe Park - Brunch at 10:30 a.m., Program at 11:30 a.m.
  • The Heritage Center Displays 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
  • Picnic in the Park - City Square Park at 5:00 p.m.  Food served by the Marion Lions Club
  • Music in the Park with Silver Wings 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
  • Love and Valor movie - Heritage Center 8:00 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 10 (Daytime events in City Square Park)

  • Family Breakfast 7:00 - 10:00 a.m.
  • 5K Run/Walk 8:00 a.m.
  • Craft show 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Food vendors and booths 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Swamp Fox Festival Parade 10:15 a.m.
  • Kids Fun Zone 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
  • Children's Activity Center 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
  • Historical Society Activities 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. Treasure Hunt and Historic Tours.

  • Square Creek Fun Fair at Squaw Creek Baptist Church, 1410 44th Street 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. includes games, food, health fair, free park shuttle service.
