The exhibit will be on display during regular gallery hours from 4-6 p.m. daily from Oct. 23 through Nov. 15. It is free and open to the public. Lucy Goodson has been an art professor at Coe since 1985, specializing in photography and printmaking. For more than 20 years, she has exhibited her photos and other works at dozens of exhibitions throughout the Midwest and regularly displays her work at galleries and shows throughout the Cedar Rapids-Iowa City corridor. Uruguayan artist Eloísa Ibarra has combined traditional printmaking techniques with digital technologies to explore the depletion of language in contemporary society. The exhibition consists of 20 prints in the etching and engraving mediums, as well as audio recordings accessed through digital QR codes incorporated into the artworks and the gallery. For more information on the exhibit, call 399-8581.
