Just Say CHOCOLATE, Chocolate Walk gets Extended to Chocolate Week

Shoppers and chocolate lovers rejoice! Marion’s annual Chocolate Walk has been extended to a 10 day event this year…because in 2020 we can all use more than one day of shopping and chocolate.  Enjoy fall at your favorite spot or take time to discover a new store.

“Chocolate Walk is one of the community’s favorite fall events and supporting our local businesses is more important than ever,” said Tami Schlamp, director of member services at the Marion Chamber of Commerce. “Extending this event allows us to spread out the fun and create a safe shopping experience for attendees.”

From October 23-31 enjoy visiting participating Marion businesses for a chocolate treat with purchase. Just mention “CHOCOLATE”. Once inside, look for the Chocolate Week QR Code and scan for your chance to win daily chocolate prizes from THE chocolate SHOP, courtesy of Marion Chamber and Uptown Marion Main Street. Register at multiple locations throughout the week, no purchase is necessary to register.

Chocolate Week will take place during regular store hours. Please check each store’s public health policies before entering. Mask up to help keep our community healthy and open for business.

Shoppers can also look for fun fall selfie stations in the Uptown Marion area starting on October 28. Shop, dine, enjoy chocolate treats, and take fun fall picture to share.

The Chocolate Walk is sponsored by the Marion Chamber Platinum Community Partners – Farmers State Bank, ImOn Communications, Summit Point Senior Living, and Z102.9, and is produced by the Marion Chamber of Commerce and Uptown Marion – A Main Street Iowa District with support from the City of Marion Hotel Motel Fund.
