Lindale Mall’s food court has received a major upgrade, with fresh spaces to eat, connect and relax, thanks to sponsor CHOMP Delivery. The brand-new space has been completely reimagined as a contemporary gathering space for the Cedar Rapids community. Lindale Mall will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of its redesigned food court on August 5th at 11:30AM. During the event there will be free samples from the dining options in the food court, refreshments, and Mayor Hart will be attending and saying a few words. The new food court includes dining and sitting areas, as well as entertainment and play spaces decorated with a playful jungle theme as a nod to CHOMP’s branding. Guests can dine at hard top tables, relax around comfortable conversation sets, watch TV on the oversized projector wall or play table tennis, yard pong or cornhole on the turf area in the innovative space. “We are excited for guests to experience the new space when dining within the food court or relaxing with friends and family,” said Becky Eckley, General Manager at Lindale Mall. “We are committed to serving as a gathering space for our community, and our redesigned food court offers a comfortable and casual environment for our guests to enjoy.” “Lindale Mall is an exciting retail and dining destination for the Cedar Rapids community,” said Adam Weeks, Owner at CHOMP Delivery. “We’re proud to sponsor the newly unveiled food court for guests to enjoy while they are visiting the town center, in the hopes that they remember CHOMP Delivery when they want delicious takeout or delivery from Cedar Rapids and Iowa City’s best local restaurants.”
