Farmers State Bank is pleased to introduce the appointment of a new marketing team, including a Vice President of Marketing, a Digital Marketing Specialist, and an Event and Marketing Coordinator. Cassandra A. Kotek is the new Vice President of Marketing at FSB. Cassandra is a 2009 graduate of Xavier High School in Cedar Rapids. She earned a B.A. in Communication Studies and Business Management at Luther College in Decorah, IA, where she played collegiate tennis. Cassandra previously served as FSB’s Marketing Specialist before relocating to Des Moines in 2016. There, she worked as the Marketing Director for McKee, Voorhees & Sease, PLC, then as Director of Marketing for the Technology Association of Iowa. Cassandra returned to FSB in 2022 as Vice President of Marketing. She serves on the Marion Chamber Board of Directors, Xavier Alumni Association Board of Directors, and the American Heart Association Executive Leadership Committee. Cassandra and her husband, Kevin, live in Cedar Rapids with their three children. Hunter J. Collachia is FSB’s Digital Marketing Specialist. Hunter is a 2018 graduate of Fulton High School in Fulton, IL. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing, with a minor in Communications, from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA. During his time at Coe, Hunter’s love of content creation led him to create an online brand, Tri-County Outdoors, which has grown to 12,000+ followers across various social media platforms. He accepted the opportunity to expand his career in the digital marketing space with FSB in 2022. Hunter lives in Marion with his girlfriend, Brittany. Mackenzie A. Carpe is the Event and Marketing Coordinator for FSB. Mackenzie is a 2011 graduate of Urbandale High School in Urbandale, IA. Mackenzie has a B.S. in Marketing from Penn State University in University Park, PA. Prior to accepting her role at FSB in 2022, Mackenzie worked as a Talent Marketing Specialist for Robert Half International and completed several marketing projects and internships within the Marion community. Mackenzie serves on several local event committees and is the FSB Employee Events Committee Chair. She is also an upcoming graduate of the 2023 class of Marion Leadership in Action. Mackenzie and her husband, Brandon, live in Marion with their three children.
