After a lengthy closure, owners at Villa’s Patio will celebrate their re-opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, February 28 at 10:00 am. In the early morning of June 29, 2019, firefighters responded to a fire at the restaurant located at 433 7th Avenue in Marion. The fire was contained in the kitchen, but smoke caused damage to the entire building. Over the past eight months, Owner Andres Torres said they took time to rebuild, including a more functional kitchen, interior remodel, and making improvements to the exterior of the building. “We were able to expand the dining room and patio room, customers will notice a more modern, cleaner look to the interior,” said Torres. “It’s the same great menu with a few new food and drink items.” Torres added in the future they will be expanding their tequila selections for area connoisseurs. Villa’s Patio officially opened for business last week. In addition to the ribbon cutting, they will have a Grand Opening Celebration on March 1.
