Gotcha Covered Offers Custom Window Treatments With A Personal Touch

Gotcha Covered of Cedar Rapids, owned and operated by Sarah Morrison, will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 12 at 9:00 a.m. at the Marion Chamber Office, 1070 7th Avenue.

Gotcha Covered opened its doors on April 7, 2025, bringing a fresh perspective to custom window treatments in the Corridor. Sarah Morrison, who blends a background in theatrical costume design with nearly a decade in corporate operations, launched the business after being introduced to the franchise. It started as an unexpected conversation and turned into a new career chapter—one that allows her to combine her creativity with her professional strengths.

“I never imagined owning a business like this,” Morrison said. “But when I realized how well my passion for design could align with my experience in operations, it all clicked. I’m thrilled to help homeowners transform their spaces while creating something lasting for my family and community.”

The company offers a comprehensive suite of custom window treatments, including blinds (aluminum, wood, faux-wood, woven-panel), shades (cellular, roller, Roman, sheer, black-out, exterior patio), shutters (wood, PolyCORE, vinyl, composite) and soft treatments (draperies, sheers, coordinating pillows). Many options can be motorized or integrated with smart-home systems and are available in insulating and cordless varieties.

Customers can expect a hands-on, personalized experience—from the first consultation through installation and beyond. With no showroom (yet), Morrison brings tailored samples directly to clients’ homes, making the process convenient and customized.

Gotcha Covered of Cedar Rapids is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays. For more information call 319-899-5210 or visit gotchavovered.com/cedar-rapids.
