The Gazette has announced the launch of a community grant program to help local businesses continue marketing themselves during the COVID-19 pandemic. The program allocates up to $100,000 in matching advertising dollars to assist local businesses during this difficult time. “It’s heart-wrenching to see how this virus is impacting our local business community,” said Kelly Homewood, Director of Operations at The Gazette. “As a local, employee-owned company, we feel the same pain, but we’re fortunately in a position to help other businesses, and we’re doing it the best way we know how by discounting advertising to help businesses get the word out about their products and services.” To apply for a marketing grant through this program, please visit www.thegazette.com/marketinggrant and complete the online application. This program is open to locally owned and operating businesses impacted by the coronavirus. Credits are available for a minimum of $100 and a maximum of $1,000 and can be used toward print or digital advertising in Gazette products. Credits will be awarded in April, May, June and July and must be used within the month they are awarded. Completed applications will be reviewed by a Gazette team and a representative will contact winners to confirm approval.
